Jazz for Justice 2015

We are shutting down the 400 Block of South Palafox for Legal Services of North Florida’s benefit Jazz for Justice. The SOGO merchants  will be hosting our event along with other businesses and firms in our community. We will be featuring great regional and national Jazz and Blues musicians and an awesome silent auction to tempt you with trips, jewelry, restaurants, gifts, art and unique items. Put Sunday, November 15th from Noon – 3 p.m. on your calendar now, and enjoy an afternoon of dancing in the streets.


Legal Services of North Florida is so very proud to present the following musicians who will be playing for Jazz for Justice on November 15, 2015.  All these musicians are giving of their time and talent to help raise funds to help provide justice for those in need in our community.  We cannot say thank you enough!  Come and hear these talented artists perform:

  • The UWF Jazz Combo – under the direction of Dr. Joseph Spaniola
  • Caravan – a 5 piece Jazz band offering a breezy jazz sound for the afternoon
  • Randall ‘Big Daddy’ Webster & Red Hot Java – offering toe tapping, dancing in the street, Chicago Blues

Enjoy a North Florida afternoon filled with great jazz and bidding on unique auction items. LSNF is soliciting items for the best silent auction in town. This year’s silent auction features fantasy trips, gift certificates from area restaurants, jewelry, and fun gift baskets will all be available for the high bidders.

FIRst City Art Glass Blowers will be joining us at Jazz for Justice!  They will wow the crowd with their exciting artistic creations as well as offer a piece in the Silent Auction to benefit Legal Services of North Florida. www.FirstCityArt.org





General admission tickets are $20/person and children under 12 are free. Patron Tickets: Are $100 and include two VIP tickets and a champagne reception. Our ever popular Jazz for Justice shirts will feature all of our sponsors and entertainers names on the back.  The artwork is entitled “Red Jazz and Blues”  and is courtesy of a 90 year old artist, Fran Mathis from Crawfordville.  “Red Jazz and Blues” will also be featured on the Commemorative Notecards, which will be available at the Promotions Table and for advance sale by calling (850) 701-3313.
